The Chamber Singers of Swanhurst Chorus

Smaller vocal ensembles have been drawn from Swanhurst Chorus from time to time since 1928, but a standing, auditioned Chamber group came into being in 1994. The group, numbering from eight to sixteen voices, is drawn from the larger ensemble, but rehearses independently from the full chorus. The Chamber Singers offer free concerts to community service organizations, schools and health care facilities each December, and constitute part of Swanhurst Chorus' outreach program to the communities of Newport County.
